Self Attestation and The Ease of Doing Business
I have long wondered why we self-attest documents. I argue that this is a largely unnecessary requirement that adds little evidentiary value but causes completely avoidable inconvenience to the public. Getting rid of it would be a small step towards creating more of a culture of making doing business easy.
